Just some musings about St. Patrick's Day and Irishness today. Nothing to incite controversy (I hope).
I'm one quarter Irish, thanks to my dad's mother, whose maiden name was Moorcroft. I'm also one half English and one half Penn-Deustch (German).
I have very little green in my wardrobe, but I managed to find a green shirt to wear.
I don't really like Guinness beer that much. It's okay - about a 6 out of 10 for my taste buds.
I'm not Irish Catholic - I'm Anglican.
I love potatoes, prepared just about any way, but my favourite way of preparing them is simply mashed potatoes with gravy.
I'm short, but I wouldn't say leprechaun short.
I can do an Irish accent fairly well, but learning Irish or Gaelic would probably be a challenge for me.

That's all I can think of for now. Share!
